As shallow as it might sound, clothing defines our identify to the public, 'the 5 second impression' .. for example, dressing smartly at a job interview. I believe you can predict what a person's like or interest are from what brands they sway towards.

A Bathing Ape (or BAPE) is a Japanese clothing company founded by Tomoaki "Nigo" Nagao in 1993, Harajuku, Tokyo.

After studying fashion editing at college, he opened his first store, "Nowhere". Deciding to start his own brand, he named it after the 1968 film Planets of the Apes.
